Associate recruited as Black Country lawyers take part in charity appeal

"Stourbridge law firm Morgan & Co. has unveiled its most recent recruit"

Stourbridge law firm Morgan & Co. has unveiled its most recent recruit: associate solicitor Daniel Martyn Williams, who has joined the matrimonial department.

Daniel trained with Bird & Co Solicitors in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and specialised in matrimonial law and children act matters following qualification in 2008.

Originally from Redditch, Daniel was not only attracted to the opening at Morgan & Co as an opportunity to advance his legal career but also because it would allow him opportunity to "return to his roots" and be closer to his family in the West Midlands. He will be working alongside Susan Morgan, a partner and Resolution-accredited matrimonial solicitor of 23 years standing. She said, "I believe that Daniel will be a real asset to the firm and hope that his enthusiasm and dynamism will help to drive forward both the matrimonial department and the firm generally."

Meanwhile, November may be an opportune time for those who have not yet written a will to remedy the matter and support a good cause.

As in previous years the wills and probate department of Morgan & Co is participating in the national Will Aid programme. This month, instead of paying the fee normally levied by the solicitor, clients are encouraged to make a donation to the seven Will Aid charities.

Morgan & Co partner William Morgan said "As a firm we have participated in this worthwhile charitable initiative for several years now.

"In 2008 we managed to raise £2,070 whilst last year we raised £2,175. We are hoping for a similar generous response from clients this year."

Anyone interested in participating in the Will Aid scheme should contact Morgan & Co on 01384 440069 or email them on admin@morgansolicitors.com for more information.
